Adani Group opened the treasury! Dividend of Rs.1080 crore will be distributed among the shareholders of this company
Adani Port Result: Late after the market closed on Tuesday, Adani Port, a company of the Adani Group, has announced its March quarter results. Along with this, a dividend of Rs.1080 crore has been declared opening the coffers for the shareholders.
After the market closed on Tuesday, Adani Port, an Adani group company, announced its fourth quarter i.e. March quarter results. After which there is a wave of happiness among the owners of this company and why not? Along with the results, the company has declared a dividend of Rs.1080 crore for the shareholders.
During a BSE filing, the company said its profit rose 5.1 percent. Along with this, a big rise in this stock can also be seen in the market today. The net profit of the company has been Rs 1158.0 crore on year on year basis. Which is higher than the net profit of 1103 crores earned in the same period last year.
With this, if we talk about the income of the company, in the last quarter of the financial year 2022-23, the earnings of Adani Port have seen an increase of 40 percent and it has reached 5797 crore rupees. While in the same period in the previous financial year, this revenue was Rs 4140.8 crore.
Talking about the operations of the company, the EBITDA has increased by 59 percent to Rs 3270.7 crore. While in the same period last year i.e. in the fourth quarter, the EBITDA was Rs 2057.1 crore. Along with this, Adani Port's EBITDA margin stood at 56.4 percent in the March quarter. Which has been 49.7 percent in the same quarter last year
Along with declaring its results, Adani Port has declared a dividend of Rs 5 per share for the financial year 2023. On this account, Adani Port spends a total of Rs 1080 crore to pay dividends. Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Limited has acquired 6. These include Haifaport Company, Gangavaram Port, Karaikal Port, IOTL, Ocialan Sparkle and ICD Tumb.
How many pledged shares? - The loan taken by the promoters by pledging the shares of Adani Port has been repaid ahead of schedule. The percentage of shares pledged by the promoters of Adani Port was 17.31 per cent till 31 December 2022. Which has decreased to 4.66 percent by 31 March 2023.
